Apologies for posting like that. One of the ‘improvements’ of the Flyer upgrade has been to render copy/paste unusable, and the ‘share’ function will only do a paragraph at a time. I will find a solution.
I arrived at the hotel with a killer headache and feeling grumpy. Various small irritations along the way ensured I was feeling rough. Grabbed a bite to eat, unpacked and fell into bed. Unfortunately, I had got completely frozen as the aircon was on full. I woke with my feet still numb and the headache lingering. A hot bath and an ibruprofen (chaser to the 2 paracetemol) and I headed to dinner.
Safe to say the food is excellent. I won’t go hungry! Indeed, I may return several sizes larger than when I left. Cleverly, the mirror in my room distorts slightly to make me look taller and thinner. Wonder if they’d notice if I took it home!
I’ve met some wonderful people already, so I shan’t be lonely. The sun is out this morning, and the world is warming up. Will post more reflections later (love the free wifi!) But right now am off to a welcome meeting.
