Wrote this yesterday.
Well, I’m on my way. Looked at the weather yesterday and decided to leave Cornwall a bit earlier than originally intended, since the met office were making nasty noises about snow and ice. Add to that the simple fact that I don’t sleep when a journey is pending, and you can see why I hit the road something over an hour and a half early.
I had calculated that it would take about 6 hours to drive. Looking at the conditions I wanted to be able to go steadily.
